Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen's Contribution to Physics
Almost everyone knows about Röntgen's great discovery of X-rays in 1895. But Röntgen was not only the “Lucky Man” who discovered this new kind of rays by accident. From a historical point of view he contributed greatly to the development of physics in the 19th century. This paper will provide some insights into his scientific work. To better understand Röntgen's efforts in his research, it is helpful to take a look at his scientific character.
